This review is for all people contemplating purchasing in a GL community, but especially an over 55+ GL community. They look gorgeous, but what you see is not what you get. OK, you think, we can do this, but Buyer Beware! Signing a contract with GL for a home is like signing on with the devil. Many buyers sign without reading the fine details. One example, GL Realtors have no responsibility to speak the truth.

Our final walk throughs were very thorough and all of our questions and concerns were addressed. There is so much to be said about a beautiful GL community. Not only are you buying a great home but you are buying a spectacular lifestyle. You can be as active as you wish from joining 1 club and 1 activity to 5 or 10 clubs and many activities.
Chasing them to make repairs is a joke. Let me start off by saying I recently purchased my home in Naples Florida. My family and I moved into one of GL s communities in April 2018. Overall we have had a very positive experience with the process of building our new home. From the sales staff to the project manager we were more than satisfied. Great construction, sales and superb customer service .
Also if you buy here don't do anything extra to your home on the outside, it's rape. They say you need approval before we bought but never told us we had to pay for approval !! They're charging us for 40 lawn cuts per year and they didn't even do 23, I asked for a refund of my money they of course said no. We will be moving as soon as the market steadies, didn't really want to thought this would be my last move. I'm 65, hubby is 70 and my mother is 92.

Hopefully, they’ll change this and rectify this before you buy a home, but I would definitely ask them before writing a contract. Hopefully, you’re using a real estate agent but whether you are or are not, definitely check this out. The Home Building is only part of the issue. It's the HOA and that is owned and run by the builder. Now as you walk through the beautiful models and see patio furniture on the patio you would think hmmmm I can have mine like this.....
Wonder what jerk is going to have that ripe job. Also No grandchildren in the Riverland pool, they never said that either. Buyer beware......they change the rules often and not to make your life pleasant.
